By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

MBCodeX is an independent software engineering service specializing in Mercedes-Benz vehicle platforms. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to Mercedes-Benz Group AG, Daimler AG, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates.
All Mercedes-Benz trademarks, model names, logos, and related intellectual property mentioned on this website are the property of their respective owners. References to Mercedes-Benz products, platforms, and technologies are made solely for the purpose of describing the services we provide.
We use OEM-grade diagnostic tools and software to perform our services. The tools and software used during our sessions are industry-standard diagnostic platforms commonly used by independent workshops and authorized service centers.
The information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties or representations regarding the completeness, accuracy, or applicability of any information presented.
By requesting and using MBCodeX services, you ("the Client") agree to the following terms and conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree with any of these terms, do not proceed with requesting our services.
All services are provided on a per-session, per-job basis. There are no subscriptions, recurring fees, or binding contracts.
A clear quote is provided before any work begins. The scope of work and the price are agreed upon by both parties via WhatsApp or email prior to the session.
MBCodeX reserves the right to decline any service request at its own discretion, including but not limited to requests involving unsupported vehicle platforms, suspicious intent, or insufficient client equipment.
Completion times are estimates, not guarantees. Session duration may vary depending on vehicle configuration, module complexity, and network conditions.
Payment is required before any session begins.
This is a strict, non-negotiable policy. No exceptions are made. Work will not begin until payment has been received and confirmed.
Full refund — If MBCodeX is unable to complete the agreed-upon work for any reason on our end, the full payment will be refunded.
Partial refund — If work is partially completed but cannot be finished due to technical limitations discovered during the session (e.g., hardware incompatibility, locked modules), a partial refund may be issued at MBCodeX's discretion.
No refund — If the session is interrupted or fails due to circumstances on the Client's side (see Section 5: Client Responsibilities), including but not limited to: insufficient battery voltage, unstable internet connection, disconnecting the diagnostic interface, or shutting down the vehicle during an active operation.
No refund — If the Client requests a service, the work is completed successfully as agreed, and the Client later changes their mind or is dissatisfied for reasons unrelated to the quality of work performed.
Payment methods and details are communicated directly during the quoting process. MBCodeX does not store or process payment information through this website.
MBCodeX shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related to the use of our services, including but not limited to:
Pre-existing hardware defects — Control units, wiring harnesses, sensors, or any other vehicle components that are defective, damaged, or malfunctioning prior to the session. MBCodeX is a software service and does not inspect, repair, or guarantee the condition of physical hardware.
Voltage drops or power loss during a session — Programming and flashing operations require a stable power supply. If the vehicle battery drops below safe operating voltage during a session, resulting in interrupted operations, corrupted modules, or incomplete programming, MBCodeX is not liable.
Client-side session interruptions — Disconnecting the diagnostic interface, closing the remote desktop application, shutting down the laptop, turning off the ignition, or any other action that disrupts an active programming or coding session.
Internet connectivity failures — Remote sessions depend on a stable internet connection. Packet loss, disconnections, high latency, or Wi-Fi drops during critical operations are the Client's responsibility.
Third-party software or interface failures — Faulty or counterfeit diagnostic interfaces (SDConnect clones, incompatible J2534 devices), corrupted operating systems, or third-party software conflicts on the Client's laptop.
Consequential damages — Loss of use of the vehicle, towing costs, rental car costs, loss of business, or any other indirect damages that may result from a failed or interrupted session.
In all cases, MBCodeX's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the specific session in question.
The Client agrees to ensure the following conditions are met before and during any remote or on-site session. Failure to meet these requirements may result in session failure, for which MBCodeX cannot be held responsible.
Battery Voltage Requirement
The vehicle battery must maintain a minimum of 12.5V at all times during the session. Ideally, the voltage should be at 13.5V or above (engine running or external charger connected). Programming and flashing operations are extremely sensitive to voltage drops. A voltage drop below 12.0V during an active flash can permanently damage a control unit.
Stable internet connection — Wired (Ethernet) is preferred. If using Wi-Fi, ensure a strong, uninterrupted signal throughout the session.
Functioning diagnostic interface — The Client must provide a working, compatible diagnostic interface (SDConnect C4/C5 or J2534 Pass-Thru device) properly connected to the vehicle's OBD-II port.
Laptop with remote access software — TeamViewer or AnyDesk must be installed and operational. The laptop must remain powered on and connected throughout the session.
Do not interact with the vehicle — During an active session, the Client must not start/stop the engine, lock/unlock the doors, operate any controls, or disconnect any cables unless explicitly instructed to do so by MBCodeX.
Accurate VIN and vehicle information — The Client is responsible for providing the correct VIN, accurate description of the issue or requested service, and any relevant vehicle history.
Remote sessions are conducted through encrypted remote desktop software (TeamViewer or AnyDesk). By initiating a remote session, the Client grants MBCodeX temporary access to their diagnostic laptop for the sole purpose of performing the agreed-upon work.
All remote sessions are end-to-end encrypted using industry-standard protocols provided by the remote desktop platform.
Access is granted only for the duration of the session. MBCodeX does not retain access credentials, unattended access, or any persistent connection to the Client's system after the session ends.
MBCodeX will never initiate a remote connection without the Client's explicit permission. The Client must manually accept the connection request each time.
MBCodeX will only interact with diagnostic software and vehicle-related applications during the session. We will not access personal files, browsers, email, or any other software on the Client's system.
MBCodeX respects Client privacy. We do not operate a user account system and do not collect personal data through this website.
VIN numbers shared with us are used exclusively for the purpose of the requested service and are not stored permanently, sold, or shared with third parties.
Communication records (WhatsApp messages, emails) are retained only for service coordination and potential dispute resolution.
We do not use cookies for tracking on this website. No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts are deployed.
We do not share, sell, or transfer any Client information to third parties under any circumstances.
MBCodeX reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bucharest, Romania.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
If anything is unclear or if you have questions before booking a session, don't hesitate to reach out.
